It was a beautiful southern California day.The ocean was sparkling like diamonds…there was a slight breeze and my friend was walking by the beach.It was literally steps away from the condo in which she lives.

She started out so joyfully. But in a matter of seconds a definite wave of sadness washed over her. A sense of loneliness engulfed her.  "God," she prayed, "Here I am walking by the beach, it's a beautiful day and there's no one to share it with!"

God gently spoke to her heart. "Dear one... this is especially for you—because I love you so much! I am here—and I’ve promised you in My word: I will never leave you or forsake you."

Oh what a great reminder — that He who promised is faithful! Thank You, God!
